| A new dimension has been added to the Signal International portfolio with the recent purchase of the former Bender Shipbuilding in Mobile, Alabama. The new company, Signal Ship Repair, adds the capability to build, overhaul and repair ships and maritime vessels. With 4,200 feet of deep water frontage, fabrication yards and wet docks, improved equipment, and expanded dry dock lifting capacities to lift up to 24,000 tons, SSR is the perfect counterpart to Signal’s operations in the offshore and heavy fabrication markets. |
