To serve customers in the Gulf of Mexico, Signal International has six yards---two on the Mississippi coast and four on the upper Texas coast. These yards have a rich and storied history dating back to building of warships for the United States Navy during World War II. Led by Richard Marler, our Chairman of the Board, CEO and President, Signal International, LLC was organized in February of 2003. Having readily accessible protected locations, Signal was positioned to provide essential services to the offshore energy business. As rig utilization rates have strengthened since then, Signal's business has continued to grow. Offshore drilling contractors and operating companies have chosen Signal for dozens of important projects. These customers return to us regularly with more work. Signal's people provide a solid foundation for our business. Quality workmanship of skilled craftsmen, led by capable project managers and a team of seasoned executives keep us focused on customer satisfaction. Signal's yards comprise the dry docks, craneage, panel lines, berthing capacity.....all of the necessities to build and work on big offshore rigs. Rigs at Signal's yards during hurricanes emerged virtually undamaged. Signal has the wherewithal to do complex, demanding jobs on rigs large and small. We realize that our customers' drilling and production units are their precious assets. We are constantly mindful that on-location rig uptime generates the revenue that sustains us. Working safely and steadfastly, while always protecting the environment, Signal International, LLC will be a dependable and highly productive member of your project team. |
